After the Second World War, a lot of chemicals were used for making incense s sticks in Japan and because of this, a negative image was spread that incense had unpleasant smell and gradually lost its usefulness.  our scent master, always has gave priority to use natural ingredients since then. Our products are made by finest natural ingredients which selected carefully.

 

Fragrance wood is formed when trees get damaged or become infected with a particular bacterium in quite a number of years.   It is valuable products grown by coincidence of nature. Our incense includes some of the typical fragrance woods such as agarwood, sandalwood and some other finest natural ingredients, which invites you to purify your body and mind.


 

  • Agarwood

Agarwood is a resinous heartwood that occurs in trees belonging to the species of Aquilaria.  It is formed in trees when they become infected with a type of mold. As the infection progresses the tree produces a unique and aromatic resin, in response to the attack, which results in a very dense, dark, resin embedded.  This is because agarwood is called “fragrance wood sink into the water”. Healing power of nature creates deeply emotive scent. Superlative quality of agarwood is called Kyara, aloeswood. Agarwood includes phytosterol which gives peace of mind in deep state and it is said that its scent horns our sensibility.

 

  • Sandalwood

Sandalwood is one of the rarest trees which emits unique gentle aroma in 50 years time and it is hard for this sensitive tree to preserve the scent.  It is said that its scent activates our cells and strengthen the immune system. The scent stimulates calmness and awakens consciousness, so that it is recommended for those who are under a lot of stress or anxieties.  Sandalwood has been used as a medicine for Ayurveda in India. It was used for a potion that arouses feelings of love in ancient times.

 

  • Musk

Musk is a name given to a substance with a penetrating odor obtained from a gland of the male musk deer.  It has cardiotonic effect and awaken consciousness.

 

  • Bulgarian rose

Scent of rose is described as “Fragrance of the goddess”.  Bulgarian rose has finest quality of the roses. Soften rose scent creates gorgeous and tenderness aroma which helps to balance hormone, sedative effect of stress, enhance blood circulation and has sterilizing effect.  Cleopatra loved the scent of roses.

 

  • Vanilla

The language of flowers of vanilla is said to be “Everlasting”.  Its sweet and mysterious scent soften the feeling, provides high relaxation and deep sleep.

 

  • Cinnamon

Cinnamon has been used since 4000 AD and it was already mentioned in the Old Testament.   Oriental aroma was used to express love in ancient Greece and it also has been valued according to strong antibacterial and sterilization effects.

 

  • Ylang-ylang

Ylang-ylang is a tropical evergreen tree having yellow aromatic flowers.

The scent has uplifting effect to give you deep feeling of joy as well as bringing calmness.  As a medicine, it has been used for improving physical disorders of reproductive organs, tuning female hormone, improving palpitations, high blood pressure and pulsus frequents.  It has been used for infectious disease due to high sterilizing and disinfection effects.

    

  • Tabu

Tabu is an evergreen tree belongs to Lauraceae family.  Its branches and leaves include lots of mucus and it is used as a caking additive when mucus is dried and grind into powder.
 

  • Kishu bincho charcoal pyroligneous acid

Bincho charcoal produced in Nara and Wakayama prefectures, called Kishu in old time, is the extremely valuable charcoal in the world following a strict, traditional manufacturing process.

Kishu bincho charcoal pyroligneous acid is a liquid of wood produced in the process of making bincho charcoal.  Liquid is extracted by smoke when the wood is burned, this is called pyroligneous acid. It includes more than 200 kinds of organic compounds and has effects of deodorization, antibacterial and avoiding harmful insects.  The smoke of aroma rises minus ion in the air and clean our body and mind.

Dr. Sadakichi Kishimoto, Doctor of Forestry, who is called “master of charcoal” said that phytoncides may prevent allergic symptoms caused by pollen, which is a unique aroma occurs when charcoal is burned and it may play the role of film in the air.  Phytoncides are antimicrobial allelochemic volatile organic compounds derived from plants.  This distinctive aroma is similar to the scent arose when the fields are burned and it works mysteriously.

 

  • Active carbon

Active carbon is created by heating coal around 100 ℃.  It is used for reducing smokes of incense.

 

  • Quercus phillyraeoides

Botanical deodorizing agent is extracted by leaves of quercus phillyraeoides.  The combination of Kishu bincho charcoal pyroligneous acid and quercus phillyraeoides improves deodorant and cleaning effects.

 

  • Titanium

Titanium is a kind of natural minerals and is used to adjust burning time for incense.

 

  • Flavonoid

Flavonoid is a natural deodorant component and has high antioxidant effects.  It also attracts attention as the effects such as alleviating eyestrain, reducing allergic symptoms, prevention of cancers and anti-aging.
